my approach
My team and I approach your wedding with the goal of creating a gallery full of images you adore, as well as helping to keep you as stress-free and relaxed as possible. We make sure you have THE best experience for both your engagement session and wedding day. We’ll be there to capture all of the real moments, the raw moments, and the perfectly imperfect ones. You should look back on your wedding day and think “wow, that was the best day ever!” and relax knowing you hired one of the best so all you have to do is celebrate with your new spouse and closest friends & family. We absolutely love what we do!
My style is film-inspired and focuses on creating stunning portraits full of natural light, love, and joy. I love to incorporate natural tones, beautiful blues, and real emotion so the images I create will stand the test of time. It’s my goal to make my clients feel as relaxed as possible, like the camera isn’t even around. We have a very relaxed approach to posing and we tailor wedding days to your needs and unique style to make sure our couples have a gallery full of diverse images that truly embody the spirit and style of their dream wedding day. We are pros at working on a time crunch, adjusting to the unexpected, and dealing with all sorts of weather conditions. We love the challenges that come with wedding days because the final result is ALWAYS worth it!

Initial Inquiry
Send me an inquiry form or message with your wedding date & details! I’ll send you a custom quote for your wedding weekend, including travel if needed as well as a custom timeline to see how much coverage we might need. Weddings are unique and we work to customize your special day to make sure you have beautiful imagery and the most wonderful day!
Contract & Engagement Session
After we complete the contract to secure your date, we’ll schedule your engagement session and start chatting about your ideas and all the fun details for your big day.
Wedding Planning
I’ll either connect directly with your planner or assist you in any way you need to ensure we create the perfect photography schedule for your wedding weekend! I’m here along the way if you need anything. And I send you a bridal planning magazine after booking that helps with all those little details.
The Wedding Weekend of Your Dreams
I usually arrive early to start capturing all of your details and the scenes that make your wedding locale or venue special. Depending on your custom wedding collection, I’ll also capture your welcome party, rehearsal dinner, and even after party or morning-after brunch! We love celebrating with our couples for all the big moments of the weekend – it can be a beautiful blur, but rest assured, I’ll be there every step of the way to capture how your wedding felt, not just how it looked.

Although based in the Midwest, I specialize in coastal, romantic weddings wordwide. I also have an incredible team of associate photographers for the dates I'm already booked for. I LOVE to travel and I will literally hop on a flight to anywhere, anytime! Bonus points if it’s France, Italy or any waterfront or along the coast.

In a sea full of wonderful photographers, I feel so fortunate to be one of the most experienced in the Midwest. It’s a title I don’t take lightly. I know my experience is all in thanks to my amazing clients. With over 375 weddings photographed, that means over 375 incredible couples have put their trust in me to capture their wedding day. And every year I fall more in love with this job and the couples and families I get to meet along the way.
I’m also one of the only photographers in the area integrating the beautiful medium of film into my business! Real film has incredible vibrancy and texture to help me create gorgeous, refined, fine art images for my couples. As both a film and digital photographer, my style is bright and captures those dreamy film tones and soft colors. Film adds the perfect level of contrast and warmth and I work hard to make sure my digital images flow as well as my film ones. My style is all about those cyan blues, soft muted greens, and beautiful, warm skin tones.
I found it’s an amazing gift when the right people work together.
I both understand and love that my style is not for everyone. But this means that when couples find us, are inspired by us, and decide to book with us, it feels like the most perfect connection. My couples often end up as lifelong friends. They are kind and creative – they may love some traditions but they’re not afraid to craft a wedding day that truly feels like them. It’s YOUR day, after all.
